Travel offers a doorway into discovery, and for those craving some journey rich with culture and wilderness, a 5-day itinerary from the vibrant capital of Kenya to Tanzania’s iconic Serengeti delivers an experience like no other.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration in Nairobi

You will land in JKIA- Nairobi, the gateway to East African adventure. Travellers are greeted with a buzz of culture and colour. You will be Met and assisted by an already pre-arranged agent to assist you through the immigration protocols. You will later be handed over to the driver guide who will transfer you to Hemingways, Nairobi. After checking into the hotel, you will spend the afternoon soaking in the city’s unique charm.

As twilight settles over the city, the anticipation for the wild adventures ahead begins to stir.

Day 2: Nairobi to Serengeti – Into the Wilderness

You will wake up to a beautiful Karen breeze and after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for an early morning flight from Nairobi to Serengeti (via Flight Link). Upon arrival, the landscape opens into a golden expanse of savannah peppered with acacia trees and echoing with the calls of the wild.

You will be transferred to Serengeti Bushtops where you will be checked-in in time for lunch as you set the tone for an immersive bush experience.

You will experience your first game drive, held in the soft hues of late afternoon. You may spot a pride (s) of lions, graceful gazelles, and possibly the elusive leopard before returning to camp for a fireside dinner under a canopy of stars.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Central Serengeti

Waking to birdsong and amber sunrise, you will set off for a full-day safari through the rich ecosystem of the Central Serengeti. This region is teeming with wildlife year-round and is famed for dramatic predator-prey interactions. With the guidance of seasoned rangers, you will track elephants, cheetahs, and herds of buffalo across dramatic landscapes.

A picnic lunch beneath the shade of a flat-topped acacia tree offers a serene interlude before continuing the drive through kopjes and grassland. As the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in gold and fire.

The evening will have you return to the lodge where dinner, storytelling and stargazing wrap up the day.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Tracking the Great Migration

You will travel north within the park to witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration (season-dependent), where hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras traverse the Mara River. With luck, you might witness a dramatic river crossing, a moment that will be etched into your memory forever.

This day deepens the bond with the wild, capturing not just the sights, but the rhythm of life that pulses across these plains. Back at the camp, you will have dinner as a celebratory feast to your forever memorable Safari of the Great Serengeti, accompanied by traditional music or quiet reflection beside the fire.

Day 5: Farewell to the Serengeti and Departure

After a final morning game drive—or simply coffee with a sunrise view— you will be driven to the airstrip to take a flight back to Nairobi for onward journeys. Though the trip ends, the memories linger: the thrill of the chase, the poetry of the landscape, and the soul-stirring serenity of the bush remain imprinted in your heart.

You will be met by our driver-guide on arrival at Wilson Airport and transferred to JKIA- Nairobi in readiness for your flight home.
